My Name is Earl Club

The Jason Lee skateboard and clothing company

by Wendy on December 11th, 2006

Did you know that Jason Lee founded his own skateboard and skate fashion company back in 1992? Yep - and here’s his official company bio:

Originally from Huntington Beach, California, Jason is a well-rounded individual who seems to have an unlimited amount of talent at his disposal for anything he chooses. A member of the Blind Skateboards team during the pivotal early 90’s, he helped set the standard for the technical and smooth style of skateboarding seen today. Seeking a new creative outlet, he moved on to start Stereo in 1992 with longtime friend Chris Pastras. Jason was also soon to launch a second career in acting that has blossomed into starring roles in films such as Chasing Amy, Dogma, Mallrats, and Vanilla Sky. But most recently he has taken on the lead role in the NBC prime time hit show My Name Is Earl. His interest in cinema led to the founding of his own production studio called Niva Films, which will be releasing Jason’s directorial debut in Seymour Sycamore, Margaret Orange. Jason is an avid art collector and enthusiast, enjoying the wonders of photography. His favorites are black and white portraits and images of people in their natural setting. Jason currently resides in Los Angeles.

Interesting, no? Here’s some of his photography work:
